This Photo is of Rosie and Justin's Litter.
As you can see...  They have not missed too many feedings!!!
Possibly one reason they have such fat bellies... they eat till they fall asleep in the food dish!!
There is nothing more fun or enjoyable than a beautiful afternoon in the yard with a lap full of puppies who absolutely adore you!

When puppies are properly raised and socialized... they will think that the sun and the moon rises and sets by you.  They will think you are the most wonderful "hunter"  the world has ever seen as you bring them brown paper bags full  of food from the grocery store.
Who would ever want to tell them different?

HELP !!!!
I can't find a Reputable Breeder of Springers!!  No one seems to have any puppies.

Email me....  and I will try to help you find a breeder.
You MUST be patient to find that WONDERFUL, beautiful Springers that will be a member of you family for over a decade.  Great Puppies are born throughout the year to in breeder friends homes...
and we will gladly refer you to other breeders.
Just promise to be a little patient....
You just gotta' have fun!!!
Here come the girls....
running right after me everywhere I go here on the 20 acres.

I cannot get two feet away from my puppies.  They seem to adore the human contact, human companionship and love.

Puppies cannot be properly raised in "masses".  Our litters are carefully planned to give "individual attention" to the puppies as they grow.
As the puppies grow and learn... they need so much of our time and touching.  We try extremely hard to socialize the puppies with not only other people... but also with others dogs and other animals!  We realize many homes have cats, birds, or even horses n' cows.

We try to let the pups get familiar with many different situations

Our puppies are raised in our home-  right in the busy part of our house...  the kitchen / laundry room area.

At about 5-6 weeks of age they are introduced to the outdoors for just a little time each day until they get older.  They really enjoy being outside!  It is important to gradually introduce them to changes.
This is Justin, getting a treat from Chester right before being groomed.

We like to make grooming fun EVERYTIME the dog is on the table.  To keep the dog looking forward to these times of close contact, we start when they are very, very young puppies.  Even before they are walking outside... we have them up on the table stacking and getting treats.
Here is an example of this "stacking" pratice with one of Justins puppies born in the Summer of 1999.

This puppy is only 4 weeks old, yet he is confident and calm on the table.  This pratice is great for ALL puppies, even if they will not be shown.  He bonds with you and learns that he can trust you.
Again, the is a photo of Justin.  In this picture he is a very young dog, only about 7 months old.

The male springer's coat is not it's full length at this age.  In fact, he may not get his full wonderful fringes until he reaches three.  It takes years to grow those beautiful coats you see in the "show photos".

Be careful to take care of their hair regularly if you want a beautiful coat, because it DOES take years to grow back long and full if you have to cut it.  So many owners want that beautiful gorgeous full hair they see and admire in their Breeders photos.  It does not "just happen" to grow long and lovely without much time, patience and care.
BUT YOU CAN DO IT !!!
And between the months of growing beautiful hair..  our Springers must be "springers" !!

They LOVE the water!

And we DO let them have their fun!!!

Here in this Photo...
Both Parents and Pup have just gotten in some serious "Pond Time"
